Shazam, it's Pandora - Like Pinterest for your ears!

I want to share something wonderful with you. I want to shout this from the rooftops for the whole world to hear as many of you don't yet know about Shazam or Pandora. These two words are quite literally music to my ears!
Pandora is an internet-based radio that allows you to create any station you want. If you're in the mood for 80s music, you can create an 80s station. You like the Beatles? Now you can listen them to them around the clock. Coldplay? Country? Sinatra? Funk? You get the idea... You can create any station you want - You can create as many stations as you want! Think of this as Pinterest for your ears! I mean how beautiful is that? I listen to Pandora on my laptop as well as on my iPhone.
I always have the radio on. I need music around me. It energizes and lifts me... it calms and soothes me. With Pandora I can. I have it on my laptop as well as on my iPhone so I that I am also able to listen to it in the car.
Another favorite of mine is Shazam. Shazam can be downloaded on to your PC or mac as well as on to your phone. I love Shazam because if I hear a song that I adore somewhere I simply press the Shazam icon and it matches and identifies the song for you. The tagged songs are then saved for you to simply purchase from your iTunes account. It's brilliant. It's positively genius, I tell you!
I'm really no techie but I am a bit of a dork. So the other night as I was driving out to meet a friend a song came on that I was mad about (Matt Nathanson is what I'm completely addicted to these days.) I wondered whether I might be able to tag the song that I was listening to on Pandora on my phone. I pressed the Shazam icon and lo and behold it started matching the song for me! Technology never ceases to amaze me.
I feel like I'm in high school all over again making all these mixed tapes for all my varied moods, only I don't have to worry about the tape getting stuck in the tape deck, coming out, and losing all the songs I worked so hard to put together!
XOXO,
Jessica
