The children are leaving me tomorrow for a few days to go skiing and spend the weekend with their father and his family. I have plans tonight to head out to meet an old and dear friend who is in town for a funeral. So we had to get a start on our Easter egg coloring. I never seem to get enough eggs. Everyone wants to color more than their allotted amount. And I am partially to blame as inevitably an egg or two end up cracked in the boiling process. Next year I will give each child a dozen of their own eggs to color.Not sure what we will do with them all after the fact, but the fun is really all in the coloring, isn't it?
This afternoon, as the eggs will be dry and their color set, I think we will continue the process with the help of a few Sharpies... Of course, my main source of inspiration is drawn from Pinterest. Perhaps the images below will inspire you and your children!
