In 2001, as newlyweds and unabashed romantics, Capucine deWoof Gooding and her husband, David, founded Juliska. What began as a tiny company with an assortment of 40 historic, mouth-blown Bohemian glasses has grown to become a prominent luxury tableware and glassware company with hundreds of items in over a dozen categories. The company celebrates the importance of making time for the people and things you love... adding beauty to each moment and rejoicing in it...  laughing with friends until your belly hurts...  adding fresh flowers on your table and cloth napkins at every meal.  

I echo their sentiments about not skimping on the things you love, being thankful and gracious for all that we have... for savoring the moment, for living our lives... for being bold, for creating our own rules and always finding reasons to celebrate!

It was an honor to partner with my friend Deborah Von Donop and host our first local Designer and Lifestyle LuxeBlogger event at Juliska's Stamford, Connecticut headquarters. We were joined by some of the area's most talented interior design, decor, lifestyle and food bloggers for an event that was as informative as it was entertaining. As we feasted on great food and sipped great wine we shared ideas, insights and tricks of the trade. We laughed, enjoyed ourselves and made new friends. What more could we have asked for?! 

For those of you who may not yet be aware, Juliska is a gorgeous luxury brand of table and glassware and fine linens. The resplendent Flagship store is a 10,000 square foot retail showroom equipped with a charming cafe - truly a feast for all the senses. Those residing in Fairfield and Westchester Counties really must pay a visit!

The evening was a phenomenal success and we could not have done it without the help of the Juliska team and Barbara Jones' One2One Network. For those of you in the Fairfield/Westchester county areas, we're in the process of creating more events and we're even planning on bringing out #LuxeBlogger events on the road...
