H1N1 NE1?

Not sure but my gut says yes. 4 kids in Rebecca's class today. Half of those absent tested for the flu. And tested postive. Rebecca seems to have all their symptoms. So I am taking her in tomorrow. Because I want to know. I need to know if this is it. And if it is, truth be told, I will be happy and relieved. There will be no more doubt. It will be done with. We'll have washed our hands of it... as soon as the other 4 family members get it! I hear Swine Flu parties are all the rage? Infect your kid, watch him (or her) get sick and then know s/he will never have to worry about it ever again! Sound good? Well, if it interests you I'll keep you posted as to whether it's a Yay or a Nay.

Meantime my 4 year old is coughing up a lung. Has been for 2 weeks. I think I'll take him in to the pediatrician tomorrow too. What the heck... for the fun of it, right?

I did manage to sneak out today... went to the grocery store and TJ Maxx... I know, shame on me. Got a couple of Holiday Entertaining books... I know... shame on me! But I'm going to host a give away... because it's that time of year. And I want to break out into Christmas song and dance despite the fact that it is downright balmy out there. And I really wish the freezing temperatures would return. I'm crazy you say? I'm really not... these influenza viruses thrive on this weather.
