Preppy Shoe Designer

There's nothing worse than your child telling you that her shoes are too small and realizing that they're not just talking a half a size too small, but two sizes too small. It was bad enough when it happened once, but twice to the same kid is inexcusable! So when Rebecca asked pleaded begged us to let her design her own sneakers at Nike.com for a ridiculous amount of money, it was kind of hard to say no. And when she told us she would be willing to chip in a little, we thought this would be permissible. After all, we had skipped over a year (did we really?) without getting her a new pair of sneakers.

She came up with these loud all by herself. They're really kind of cute, aren't they? And like all top shoe designers, she's got her name on them!
