Grey Matters :: Neutral's most exciting color
Grey is the new black... well, maybe that's not quite the case, but this neutral should be on everyone's radar and certainly in everyone's closet. In hues varying from pale heather to bold charcoal and everything in between, it is, perhaps, one of the most versatile colors to work with. While black will never fall from grace, it's softer cousin offers a gentler side that complements just about any wardrobe, style, skin and hair color. Over the past few years, grey has become one of my go-to colors. It complements my summertime sun-kissed skin, and seems to brighten up my paler winter complexion. Whether soft, thick cashmere, rich tweeds or well worn denim, there's a grey for every vibrant style and cherry mood. For those of you who need a little color in your wardrobe grey pairs delightfully with sunny yellows, cool blues, warm reds and oranges, and so much more. But maybe, just maybe you'll see how completely fabulous it is on its own. Take a look and I think you'll agree, there's nothing somber or dreary about the color grey!
I have grey jackets, blazers, scarves, sweaters and shoes... I don't have any grey jeans... I think I need to amend this situation as soon as I possibly can!
