Come meet Pinklet and C, guest blogger!
I recently came across Pinklet and C, a fun new blog after meeting Lindsey on Twitter. I love her blog and her style and asked if she would mind being a guest blogger here at The Entertaining House. Please take a moment to visit her blog!
Hi Everyone! I'm Lindsey owner of a decorating business, Lindsey Anne Interior Styling. My site is an interior design blog where I share my inspirations, projects that I'm working on and products I love.
I'm so excited to be here since I've been following The Entertaining House for a while now and always love Jessica's posts!
One of my favorite things about Spring is the abundance of color everywhere! This year I've been seeing a lot of unique, fun color combinations in the interior design world. A lot of people shy away from something like this, but pairing together two bright colors doesn't have to be scary!
A few tips for color beginners -
-Ground the room with a few neutral pieces and let the colors bounce of off them.
-Don't stay away from pattern completely, but keep it to a minimum. Too many patterns and colors will become too busy
-Start small! Introduce a few pieces in the color of your choice and build. You don't need to fully commit right away!
Here are examples of how to style a room with my two favorite combinations right now.
I would love you hear how you have decorated with color this Spring!
Thanks again for reading my post and thank you Jessica for having me here!
