Dancing in the rain!

We've really had a doozie of a summer so far. We've had a couple of back to back relentless, oppressive heat waves that have really put a damper on our summers. It's really just too hot to be out there for any extended period of time making pools and beaches less enjoyable. Even the children feel it. Our pets do too. We need a break from this! With just one month left before the kids return to school we need our summer back! We need to be able to go outdoors and enjoy being outdoors! The children should be running around and biking and riding scooters and having fun. It's too hot even for the sprinklers. Even for the water balloons! This is supposed to be the end of it. The very last day, they tell us. And then come the rains. I say bring 'em! Let it rain! Rain down on me!
