I love using bandanas when I entertain. They make great napkins or, when stitched together, great table runners and tablecloths. Tie a slew of them together, as seen below, to create your own festive bunting. Place them in mason jars, as shown above, galvanized buckets or wicker baskets to house your silverware.

Inexpensive little flags look very festive in recycled bottles, jars, bud vases, glasses or tin cans that have been painted or covered with decorative fabrics. Cover your aluminum cans with small flags and use them to hold freshly cut flowers or cutlery.
