My brilliant idea :: New use for cookbook holder!

I've had my acrylic cookbook holder for over 20 years now - ever since I got a job at Williams-Sonoma right out of college. I use it often when referring to recipes in various books and magazines. I love this one in particular with the clear acrylic front, because I tend to splatter and make a good mess when I work in the kitchen and the plastic shield is easy to wipe off.

But lately I find myself surfing the net or my own In the Kitchen boards on Pinterest for recipes and I tend to do this most on my iPad.

And last night I wanted to watch the news while I was cooking and I don't have (or really want) a television in my kitchen. So I brought my iPad in the kitchen, as I am apt to do quite a bit these days, and tuned into the news from there. (My local cable company grants us television access on our computers, iPhones and iPads!) 

I thought this was pure genius!
